SunSet

Sunset…,

Where you going to,
And nobody knows,
What you gonna do.

Within your mind,
you amuse your soul,
And rinse away the rain,
as the fear runs dry.

When the evening lies….for the evening dies….
Where the evening lies
in the arms of the night,
And you find the stars come out and shine,
And You watch the waves come out alive,
And In the moonlit sky the night is bright

And the crash of waves makes you disappear,
And nobody’s far and nobody’s near.

And you weave the thoughts from another time,
And you transverse to a parallel life.

And what you were is not what you are,
And what set you free is now very far.
What you cannot keep is all you bought.
An imprisoned mind is a distant thought.

You always keep what you discover.
The smile of a child, the tears of a lover.
Watching the shadows of a distant vessel
The sliver of light at the horizon.
Far
Beyond
It time to head home.

“…Sunset makes his way home, far away from friends, under the yellow street light
They are linked in chains, the magenta streaks slowly fade away…”
